The End of White Flight
The Wall Street Journal writes an interesting account about White Flight. It’s not really a church based article, except for the part where black preachers are now trying to attract white parishioners.
…makes me wonder, if your ministry were geared towards blacks and they all moved away, why not move with them? Then again, I guess adapting and/or changing the script can be considered progress.
Why is integration a problem? Awww, why can’t we get along? …rhetorical. Truth be told, though we are commanded to love one another, culturally, not all, but most of us like being around our own kind. Sure, there are also economic considerations.
