Life Unscripted, though my steps are ordered
I’ve come so far and yet, I have so far to go. The wrong that I do could only be covered by a perfect sacrifice. So often, I wondered why God has kept me around, despite the fact I’ve lost so many good friends. We were partners in sin and yet he preserved me. I still don’t know why, but since he’s kept me, I figured I’d contribute something before I leave here. How could I give of myself, besides singing and directing?
What seemed to start as a fluke, has endured. Peaking at a little more than 40,000 hits a month, ATLGospel isn’t what I’d call a major site, but it’s comforting to know that this site has been a blessing to some since it began in 2003. Whether it’s been thru the music or thru my journal, I’ve received so much feedback, good and bad (mostly good).
The landscape is changing and Gospel music is more widely available, but to me, it was never just about the music. It is my hope that this site will continue to evolve and remain relevant in a time of so much uncertainty.
Lives hang in the balance, but a word or a song can make the difference in somebody’s life. It’s definitely made a difference in mine.
