I can make this journey, with you by my side.
Yes, I Can.
This clip is only one minute long but she sho did pack a lot in that minute.
Side note, it always warms my heart to see Daryl Coley. You’ll never meet a nicer man. He’s proof there are artists who are beautiful on the inside.
Also in the background, Mary Mary and Brent Jones

Victory in Praise Music and Arts Seminar Mass Choir (V.I.P.) and Pastor John P. Kee unite for a seventh project, “Live in Miami,” to be released on September 2.
The 12 track CD features Fred Hammond on “The Glory;” Lowell Pye on “Yes We Can” and “I’m Covered” and Nikki Ross on “Our God.” Also featured is Earnest Pugh on “Just For Me” and LeJuene Thompson on “Favor.”
There are many other extraordinary voices handpicked by the one-of-a-kind John P. Kee who helmed production of the CD.
Kee and Lowell Pye trade lead vocals on the celebratory “I’m Covered,” as well as the encouragingly upbeat first single “Yes We Can.”
As mentioned, Hammond’s rich baritone soars on “The Glory,” a lively track that finds him ushering listeners into worship as only he is gifted to do. Nikki Ross’ angelic voice exalts on “Our God” while Earnest Pugh flawlessly extols God’s virtues on “Just for Me.”
“There is so much hurting and suffering in the world, that the only way not to be overwhelmed by it is to know that you are doing something about it,” says Pastor Kee, who himself is consistent in waging war against injustices, trials and tragedies however he can.
A distinguished pastor, vocalist and Grammy Award winning producer, John P. Kee is a leader in Urban Gospel music and has contributed to the genre for decades. Kee is a multiple Stellar and Dove Award winner and in 2007 was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame.

Here’s something you might’ve expected to be a movie starring Whoopi Goldberg, rather than real life.
Apparently, an Italian priest is organizing the world’s first beauty pageant for nuns to erase those nasty stereotypes that have been perpetuated by Hollywood and others.
Antonio Rungi says, “The Miss Sister Italy online contest will start on his blog in September.”
“Nuns are above all women and beauty is a gift from God,” he told Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper.
He is asking nuns to send their photos to him, saying that internet users will then choose the winner.
Father Rungi stressed that nuns were not being invited to parade in bathing suits, saying it will be up to them whether they pose with the traditional veil or with their heads uncovered.
“This contest will be a way to show there isn’t just the beauty we see on television but also a more discreet charm,” the priest, who lives near the southern city of Naples, told the Corriere della Sera.
“You really think all nuns are old, stunted and sad? This isn’t the case anymore,” he said, pointing out that many young nuns had arrived to Italy from around the world.
He added that the idea of staging such a contest had been suggested by nuns themselves.
Apparently Sisters are doing it for themselves these days. I’m not so sure Sister Mary Clarence would approve.
What’s next? Nuns Gone Wild?

…looking forward to this.
If you’re in the New Jersey area or plan to be between September 11 & the 13th, you might want to check out Lance Williams’ True Worship Retreat.
The list of guests reads like a who’s who list. I just might have to change my travel plans for this one.

I was sitting here, reflecting, viewing the MySpace page of a young Christian and thinking; wow, I kinda wish I could go back to my early days. I was so naive and oblivious to just about everything that was going on around me. It was just me and Jesus, and I couldn’t be happier.
If Adam and Eve were here, I’m sure they’d concur knowledge is a two-edged sword. The more you know, the greater the burden that knowledge carries. Does that mean we shouldn’t crave knowledge? No - you should take every opportunity to acquire knowledge, as long as it doesn’t require doing something stupid, like getting caught up in Scientology.
On topic, be careful what you ask for.
Take work for example: The more skills you know above that of your co-workers, the more work you end up having to do.
When it comes to church, the less you know about what goes on in the back operations, the easier it is to praise God in the beauty of holiness.
The less you’re exposed to, the less you have to contend with. Is it really expedient to indulge in drugs? Will your life be less complete if you never taste alcohol? Is unprotected sex with some anonymous individual a good idea?
I’ve dealt with all of the above and I must say, there are some things I wish I didn’t learn. The fact I’m still here is truly by the grace of God. As smart as I am, I’ve done some stupid things and it was all because knowledge got to me before wisdom could.
One of the reasons I’m still here is to tell you to dismiss certain knowledge. Life is far more difficult being exposed to certain things God would rather you not know.
Enjoy the garden and eat, but stay away from that forbidden tree. There is wisdom in ignorance.
